Laced Wheel Stitch
A darling little stitch created with a series of cross stitches (diagonal, vertical and horizontal) and then finished with a delightful weave.
Start with a traditional cross stitch / Up and over 5
Two horizontal stitches
Two vertical
Now for the weaving! Bring it up from the back
You will work it over the horizontal and vertical base stitches and under the diagonal base stitches.
Then bring it down in the same spot you brought it up.
